Trusted Housesitters is the world’s most loved pet and travel solution. A category creator, pioneering a platform where trust, sustainability, and the sharing economy intersect. By 2023, they had grown to 200,000 members, but by 2024, new challenges emerged in sustaining this momentum.

Charlie Oscar engaged in early 2025 to craft a refined, data-driven marketing strategy designed to not only stabilise growth but accelerate it. Our approach turned insights into action, reinvigorating performance and laying the foundation for long-term success in a sharing economy model that is ethical, sustainable, and entirely built on trust.

The Approach

Starting with a comprehensive media audit and COmpass MMM insights, we immediately spotted areas of opportunity. Brand search? Divested. High incrementality drivers like Meta and generic search? Prioritised. The result? Smarter spend and scalable growth.

We rebuilt campaigns top to bottom, aligning investments with best practices. Then we shifted focus from 84% bottom-of-funnel activity to 54%, doubling down on ToF strategies like YouTube and influencers for long-term brand growth. 

Creatively, our testing frameworks deliver monthly insights, driving continuous improvement. This isn’t just typical optimisation; it’s deliberate, strategic, and built for results.
